Project Design:

Terry Farrell & Partners

The project involves the regeneration of the 35-acre historic docklands site in South East London.

Located in the heart of the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone, the Royal Albert Dock is set to undergo a £1.7bn makeover, overseen by Development Managers Stanhope and Masterplanners Farrells.

ABP is an experienced developer in China and this venture will be its first development project in Europe. The vision is to create a 24 hour ‘mini- city’ comprising 4.2 million square feet of high quality work, retail, residential and leisure space, making way for Asian and Chinese trading links into Europe as well as the UK.

The project is expected to generate 20,000 new jobs and contribute £6bn to the UK economy once completed.
