I have enjoyed working in the property and construction industries for over 30 years and am Joint Managing Director of WT Partnership (UK & Europe) and also Joint Global Chairman with responsibilities in the strategic development of the group.
Following my graduation in Newcastle, I joined WT Partnership and worked in many different sectors as a Chartered QS including health, airports, commercial, industrial, retail and residential. My early experience included a two-year stint In Barcelona working on the Hotel Arts at the Vila Olimpica. I also had responsibilities in advising a major international bank on financial and procurement issues as part of their business integration programme, which followed some major acquisitions.
More recently I have been responsible for the performance of EA and QS services on a large number of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects predominantly in the City and West End of London which have included Watermark Place, Centre Point and Minster Court. I like to be closely involved at all stages of a project from inception right through to completion, adopting a pro-active approach in order to achieve a successful outcome for my clients.
