About the Position
WT Partnership Guernsey Limited, a Chartered Quantity Surveying and Project Management practice, established in Guernsey for over 60 years is seeking to appoint an MRICS qualified, Senior Quantity Surveyor for its St Peter Port office.
The candidate will be experienced in traditional quantity surveying duties including estimating, pre and post contract cost management and the preparation of contract documents using a range of standard forms of contracts.
A competitive salary including pension is offered and for the right candidate the title of Associate Director with conversion to a Director appointment, subject to performance, within a short time frame.
The candidate will be required to be flexible in approach, used to dealing directly with client representatives in both public and private sectors and be self-motivated, used to working on their own initiative without supervision.

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our friendly and collaborative team based at our Manchester office, with occasional travel to project sites and client locations as required. This role will be predominantly focused on the commercial sector.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Building Surveyor (Asset Validation) to support our team by carrying out comprehensive property and asset validation surveys for our clients portfolio of public sector properties throughout greater London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveying professional who enjoys working both on-site and with data, ensuring asset records are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose. You will play a key role in validating building information and supporting strategic investment decisions through high-quality asset data.
About the Position
As a Freelance Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site property inspections and asset verification, including both building fabric and Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) assets. Your work will ensure that building and asset records are accurate, complete and compliant with organisational standards.
This is a full-time contract position for an initial six-month period, with the potential for extension depending on programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Verification of Client base data
- Conduct asset validation and verification surveys.
- Undertake detailed building inspections and condition assessments.
- Validate building fabric and M&E asset information against existing records.
- Capture and record accurate survey data, measurements, photographs and asset attributes.
- Identify and report discrepancies between physical assets and asset management records.
- Update and maintain asset data within asset management systems. Ensure all surveying activities comply with health and safety requirements and industry standards.
- Produce clear and accurate survey reports and supporting documentation.
Experience / Skills required
- Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in building surveying, construction, property management or a related discipline.
- Experience conducting building surveys and property inspections.
- Experience working with asset management systems software and databases.
- Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft excel
