Project Description

Steve Brown

Director

Born in Nottingham in 1960, I joined WT Partnership in 1999. I have enjoyed thirty-seven years of experience gained with local government, multi-disciplinary practices, and in the main, with Private Sector Quantity Surveying Practices, in the East Midlands area.

With extensive knowledge of all traditional aspects of cost control and project management, from project inception to Final Account, I obtained membership of the Association of Project Management in 1998 and possess a particular flair for ensuring project value is maximised. My philosophy is to exceed client expectations, in respect of quality of service, control of cost and timescale.

I was appointed Director of the Nottingham Office in 2003 and combine the management of the office with taking a lead on Value and Risk Management aspects (to ensure key initial projects direction) and keeping a hands-on overview role on projects. I have extensive experience of the affordable housing sector and head a UK wide Sector Group within the practice which shares ideas, best practice and lessons learned to add value to future projects.

My enjoyment outside work is found in running, hiking, swimming and five a side football, whilst my biggest challenge is trying to keep fit.
