Miramar has had an auspicious past – in 1929, Miramar was converted into a restaurant that held the most outstanding banquets. In 1959 TVE, the national Spanish television, started to broadcast from Cataluña and turned it into its headquarters. Since 1983, when all the studios moved to Sant Cugat, the building fell into an unexpected disuse. The property was purchased to be renovated into a luxury hotel with 80 bedrooms, dominating the city of Barcelona from a privileged location.

WT Partnership (WT) was engaged by Apollo Real Estate following a positive working relationship on Gran Hotel La Florida. Despite changes in management, WT  was able to deliver another on time and on budget hotel, Hotel Miramar, for the client.
