Gerard leads WT Partnership’s presence in Ireland, bringing over 25 years of experience across buildings, infrastructure and major international programmes.
A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), he has worked in Ireland, the UK, Australia and Europe delivering cost planning, business case development, value management and commercial leadership on complex capital schemes.
His background spans major rail, road and transport programmes, healthcare and commercial developments, and large‑scale mixed‑use precincts. Gerard is experienced across a wide range of procurement routes and contract forms, including NEC, JCT, Design & Build and public‑sector frameworks, and is highly skilled in risk management, cost modelling and early‑stage project definition.
A native of Galway, Gerard is active in his local community and serves as Secretary of his local hurling club. He also led the team that received the RICS “Team of the Year” Award in Melbourne in 2018.
At WT Partnership, Gerard leads the growth and delivery of our Irish business, providing clients with strategic, data‑driven advice and championing the adoption of new technologies to enhance the delivery of mainstream QS services.
