Richard is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 35 years of industry experience; having joined WT in 1990 as a trainee, he has built a distinguished career within the business and now serves as Director for the Northern Hub, specialising in maintenance contracts, cost management and statutory compliance auditing.
Throughout his career, Richard has led and managed long-term contracts across a wide range of sectors, including industrial, public sector and residential portfolios.
His expertise spans cost management, facilities management and contract leadership, enabling him to deliver consistent value and high performance across complex, multi-site programmes.
Richard works closely with clients to develop informed, data-driven strategies that align with their operational requirements and long-term objectives. His analytical approach helps organisations make confident decisions while maximising value and performance.
In addition to his client-facing role, Richard leads WT’s Business Management Systems, with particular responsibility for information security and cyber security.
His commitment to robust governance and continual improvement helps ensure the business maintains the highest standards of compliance, resilience and quality.
