Project Description

MURRAY DAVIES

DIRECTOR – HEALTH AND SAFETY

I have been working as a Principal Designer for 17 years, specialising in Construction Health & Safety. Throughout my career, I have had the chance to be involved in a wide range of projects, from simple office refurbishments to large, complex new builds. My background includes time in the military with the Royal Engineers, where I gained hands-on experience in construction and mechanical engineering, which still shapes how I approach projects today.

I really enjoy the challenge of helping clients navigate health and safety regulations while ensuring that their projects are successful. My focus has primarily been in the commercial and office sectors, but I’m always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow. I’ve also had the privilege of working with various sectors and groups within WT including contributing to Social Value and supporting Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.

What I find most rewarding is knowing that I’m playing a key role in creating safe working environments, whether it’s in the early design stages or on-site during construction. There’s a sense of pride in knowing that what we do helps protect lives.

WT has helped me develop my career by offering continuous learning and exposure to a variety of projects. Being part of such a dynamic team allows me to learn from others, while also sharing my own expertise. It’s a place where you’re constantly encouraged to grow and make a difference.
