Project Description

Client:
Kirklees Council & Delta Academies Trust

A dining hall and classroom extension project at Manor Croft Academy in Dewsbury. This project involved the construction of a 743m2 extension, including a dining hall, classrooms, car park, and external works, with a total project value of £2.2 million jointly funded by Kirklees Council and Delta Academies Trust.

Working collaboratively with other key contributors, AHR (Architects), Clancy Consulting (MEP), Semperian Infrastructure Group, Kirklees Council, Delta Academies Trust and Bermar Building Co Ltd (Contractor), our team navigated challenges to deliver the project efficiently. Notably, completion faced a delay, and in response to the school’s need for immediate use of the Dining Hall, our team re-sequenced the construction works. Our strategic adjustments enabled partial possession, ensuring students and staff could utilise the Dining Hall when the new term commenced.
